With 25 years of competition experience and over 12 years as a coach and trainer in freestyle, greco, and collegiate wrestling, no-gi jiu jitsu, judo, Muay Thai, Boxing, and MMA, Conor's technical knowledge of the fighting arts is second to none. Training sessions with Conor fall into one of five categories. He offers training packages in Wrestling, Jiu jitsu, boxing, muay thai, and MMA. Nutritional counseling, goal setting, and competition preparation are also covered.
Develop a powerful shot and "good hips" through various wrestling drills. This session combines calisthenics with technique used to build explosive power and develop a strong wrestling base or core.
Learn 10th Planet ground techniques. This is a perfect introduction to Eddie Bravo's 10th Planet Jiu jitsu system. This type of training teaches the basic fundamentals of a ground based offense and defense. This session is less cardio based than the wrestling session and the primary focus is technical acquisition.
Learn the fundamentals of the sweet science and focuses on footwork, shadow boxing, head-movement, bag and mit work as well as sparring if desired. Boxing specific warmups such as skipping rope, rhythm running, shadowboxing are covered in detail.
The whole body is targeted during a technique and cardio heavy workout. The most physicaly taxing of the striking sessions, the Muay Thai workout teaches punches, elbows, kicks and knee strikes as well as blocks, and parries. By using the whole body and the "science of 8 limbs" we maximize the calories expended during the session and tone the entire body.
All of the techniques of Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, boxing, and muay thai are combined. Focus is on self-defense, gaining confidence and creating smooth transitions between the striking and grappling arts.
